The reason being they'd barely get to 88, being actually a bit crap as a sports car. I'm told the huge amount of time and effort it takes to reach 88 in the films is actually quite realistic.

Om nom nom. Well, not much, really. I haven't bothered trying, because after riding the ZXR unrestricted just once, I can feel the lack of power, and it makes me think 'what's the point, I'll just lean it much further into the next three corners and show them how much more fun I'm having, and how much more involved I'm feeling, riding'.

On the flip side, however, I've been eaten by plenty of stuff, either because I've not noticed they're winding up to blat past me until they do blat past me, or because I've not cared.
There's a black 306 around the Marlborough area. I've heard rumours of it running 340 break, but I don't believe that, that's bull. I'd credit it with maybe 220 - 230 BHP. Anyway, it's eaten me twice. Both times because I've noticed it but not noticed it getting a good run up.
The only other things that've overtaken me have been bikes, bigger ones. Usually Gixxers. Unfailingly blue/white. Usually in rediculous circumstances where they've barely made it back out of the TOD.

hmmm interesting i had a peugeot 106 and several corsas with gay body kits last night. and i tried to see if this Ferrari 599GTB was up for it. he was and i lost! BADLY but got him at the lights to about tripple digits he came by asif i was standing still.. it made my ZXR sound quiet. this thing was loud he gave the thumbs up etc seemed a nice guy. as for the boy racers... well easy prey. there is a black supra non turbo auto that has tried to catch me a couple times. them things hardly move.

i done loads of boy racers in my time on the ZXR it was mint, corsas, civics, etc etc, but when it came to the cream of sports cars there was no way. i got raped by an Austin Martin on the motorway onece av also been abused by a lotus ellese. i done a supra off the lights onece but it defo werent the twin turbo version cos in such a case there faster than most 1000's sports bikes. after a while thoe i stopped looking for car races thoe. much rather race a fellow bike off the lights, best thing about the ZXR you could give it the beans from the off and it would stay down so your would beat most bikes to 60 which was always nice.

lol a twin turbo supra is no way near as fast as a 1000. infact they would get spanked by a 600. supras and stuff like that have to have alot of cash invested. i.e need to be running 800hp+ to beat a top dog 1000. video. of a 650-700hp supra vs a ZX10R and a ZX6R. i want a 10!
