Same here - teh ZXR400 was by far the better bike in the rain of all the one's I've ridden so far.

The main problem with riding in the rain is that it draws all of the oils / rubber / diesel and other crap out of the tarmac and can make it feel like your riding on ice. For example - if you are unlucky enough to get caught on the nurburgring in the rain - there is far more grip off line than online.
it isnt the water thats the problem, its the stuff thats lurking underneath it!
