the clock bracket? - its home made, mates dad made it for me out of ally, its bloody light.

the shift light? - it wires into the RTD ignition box

exhaust looks odd, like a mutant cross between a micron and a kawasaki kit item .. lol ..

still as long as it works eh ?

whats the crack with the rtd ignition units re cost/adjustability ?

I guess it lets you set the advance and rev limit wherever you like ?

yer the exhaust works fine, prob just a bit heavy, but sounds sweet and revs cleanly.

the rtd ignition box allows you to advance/retard the ignition, not sure what else it does, as i have'nt had a play with it.
the bike goes on the dyno soon, so will be able to tell a bit more then.

as for cost, think they are bloody expensive (£600) so best option is to get one of them 155 quid ones off ebay or something similar.

£600 ! jeeeesus ..

Im running a programmable ignitech box anyway as i Import them from time to time (pm for prices and availability :smt002 ), just wondered what functionality im missing out on compared to the rtd unit..

ignitech only allows 10 breakpoints in the ignition map, software is old fashioned.. dont wholly believe it obeys the data given it either, but they do seem to work.. and last time round (before sterling collapsed) came in under 100 quid each.

sweet, are you doing away with the plastic undertray battery box thing then?
i wanted to make my own battery box, with a small section for the cdi etc... just could'nt get my head around it.
I also tried painting my bike this week.... much much harder than i thought! i think i will get it done properly next time, your finish looks great.
here's mine...not ready to go yet, still lots to do

that battery box goes with the ams seat unit & under tray.
waiting for the seat unit & under tray still, he sprayed the tank today tho, so not long to wait now.

i just needed the front and battery box so i can get it on the dyno ( they have a free standing fuel tank to use )

jake- is that a cbr rr seat unit??? looks good what ever it is!

got my rvf400 calipers today, i test fitted them today, using the gsxr750 rear disc bolts, and they seem to work fine.

but i have got someone to make me some proper spacers to fit the m8 rvf caliper bolts to make them 10mm for the fork leg.

so i shall be using these instead when they get fitted properly.
