I let the parts cleaner solution sit for 12hrs in the exhaust ports and hey presto most of it had dissolved and what's left easily falls off when picked at with a screwdriver
This will save the grinding stone getting fouled up and speed the job along.


Have also been trying out stove paint I have to see what it's going to look like, happy with the appearance just need to get a bigger brush for a smoother finish. This will aid the block to dissipate heat quicker and come cleaning time the dirt should fall off. I've been preparing the SP motor for this to get applied and until the bling side casings arrive I'll paint the originals Gloss black.


Hoping by next weekend I'll have the head finished so before removing the H2 engine from bike I'll bolt this on and give it a test run on a known working set-up. Then I can start all over again with the H2 head getting it ready for th SP engine - nice thing about having spare motors is you don't need to leave your bike in a non running state

But sea mail should be cheap, a return 10kg package would be 6,750 yen for me so around £53 just now
EcoAir is double that and I know UK postage is double the rate of here so sea mail for you would be around £100 maybe !!
