Your needing to overhaul your calipers, the pads themselves are wearing unevenly so one part is heating up a lot more than the rest and looks to be at the fracture point too.
I just cleaned up mine the other day and what a difference - didn't think the brakes were bad before but just doing the MOT made me overhaul them, now back to one finger braking !
Will now monitor when I start to use my full grip and stay on top of it
Close shave and very observant of you - most would have ignored and found themselves saying hello to a roundabout wondering what the fug had just happened
But pump those pistons out (not fully) and give them a good scrub and a light smear with silicone grease and push back in.
