Na i disagree i think the switch is a good idea if you doin a lot a commuting it will save a tidy sum at the end of the year but even if it were a tank of fuel, "a tank of fuel is a tank of fuel". as for restricting it in the wet on a bike that fast heavy and expensive i would like all the help i could get to keep it upright.

Its easily one of the best thousands on the market today in my opinion

exactly, if you cant handle the power you shouldnt be buying a thou. Theres a perfectly good powere restricter in the form of your right hand and your brain!

experiance more than anything, somthing that most gixxer1000 owners have very little of..

If i was thinkin of gettin a thou thoe it would be a strong contender. they look much better when you see em on the road if you ask me. but the only reason i would want a thou is if i had loads of commuting to do.

If your on a motorway every day the thousand would be better than a 6 by miles or why the fook do ppl have em!!!!!!!!!!!! they are good for idle riding.

no a bmw 1200 is good for idel riding a GSXR eats tyers brakes fuel, wheel bearings, brake disks ect ect ect

Yea i can imagine it eats that lot if you ride it like a race bike every day. every person i seem to see on one is older an not rippin round everywhere. (to be fair thats probly why) but if i had to get a thou i would have one of them or the R1.NAAA i would have an RSV dont care about the cost of runnin or the expensive service
