Nice so its an 1100 beast then not bad at all, i wouldnt mind undergoing a project like this one day i think mabe when i know a bit more on engines etc.

i like the exhaust on that thoe to be fair hmm.

finally after a few weeks stripping the engine and coats of primer, top coat and a few coats of laquer, bits of polishing here and there and a lot of manhandling on mine and Gems behalf we have engine painted/polished/fitted.

What paint/laquer did you use? Quantities, hardener/flex etc?

halfords mettallic red engine paint mate a couple of coats, then a couple of coats of some decent mettallic red paint followed by a couple of coats of laquer, who knows what will happen when the engine gets hot but then again who cares?

you need to paint your paddock stand, it clashes!

actually i think Gem has a red one that clashes with the purple on his zx7r.
