I am thinking of going for an endurance bike look for my 400 l5 which is painted in standard green white and blue it has trick parts, Micron, dynojet ,goodridge hoses, etc fitted to it already plus a a single seat .I am fitting numberboards to it shortly and dont know weather to go for numberboards up front aswell ?
Anyone done it to theirs?
Opinions and photos?
Cheers

Re: ZXR400 Endurance Replica
You get an endurance front number board that converts it into a single light - got to go that route if your wanting to be authentic
You can also get quick fill fuel cap's (or at least ones with no lock and key) but don't know how you would feel about that for a road bike.
Typically long end cans 100 x 500mm and what they call "Up-type" so the snout of the can is up beside the tail light.
Definitely need Oil and water temp (digital) meters - look for Kosco or Daytona. Yoshimura do a dual meter if you've got the dosh.
I would also think a ram box with FCR's would be part of the kit as the bikes would be running high speed for long durations.
Alloy tank would be the icing on the cake but have only ever seen a ZX7 one before.
A set of Dymag's wouldn't go a miss either

I have just got the ZXR After Selling a KTM supermoto which was far from standard the trouble is i just dont like to to have a bike which is the same as everyone elses.
I made that vow after i once got onto someone elses GSXR at box hill, there were about 15 in a row on a very busy sunny sunday and tried like hell to start it with my keys.
No wonder they were called clitoras bikes

Have you seen the latest Fastbike magazine, some dude has turned an R1 or maybe an R6 into an enduro bike. It's on page 22 and the bike has 160bhp for off road. I bet it's mental!!!!
