what wets are you using, what size are your rears, how much & where you gettin them from???

was using the michelin block style, tbh i thought they where ok, but was recommended the bridgestones by a few people. So i now have them, altho managed to race all last year without getting wet... dunno how that happened

have two sets of formentioned michelin's ..

never used them.. got them off Jake and Will#224

Think rear is 165.
About £200 a set from memory. But I wouldn't trust my memory
Get them from Allan (Russell, A&R Racing) at the track; no delivery charge and his fitting is included in the price.

Dunlops, the ladder pattern, i use them because thats what i always used whilst racing supermoto, thats what was the control tyre in 250gp and i'd dare say thats the tyre thats had the most development recently. They wear really well on a drying track and theres always lots of part worns about if you want to try them. Personally my opinion of Michelin is better outright grip but when they slip you get to see whole track with an aerial view. Dunlop might have slightly less grip but give you so much feedback you can ride on the limit even when they are past there best.

165 rear, i dont think they do a 160, it works better on a 5 inch rim and if you had a 5 inch rim i'd recommend trying the 170 rear slick. The side grip is amazing! This is all based on my supermoto experience but i intend to use a very similar setup in May when i wheel the zxr out.

always used to use pirelli for wet or dry. tried dunlops in the dry last year and hated them. got some dunlop wets cheapie cheap and was told they were very good. Had to use them yesterday at Anglesey in race two, and even after having to start back of the grid due to lobbing it in race one (on dries) i charged through to second! Dunlop wets are beasts - so much grip! Buy em. Job done.
