You can mod it yourself very easy.Where is yours leaking?You might be able to sort it with some jb weld.Thats what I used on mine.

just been modded,leaking where the brackets are on the top and slight drip on each corner.might give that a go,trying to get it done asap to get it set up as running very lean,and knockhill is only 2 weeks away.is it easy enough to work with jb weld?

Sound like what happened to mine so should be fine its like chemical metal but much better.Its more runny so gets into hole better.try ebay for it.

just done it just now,so will see what like it turns out.hopefully that ll be it.

Hi mate - its easy. I have done a couple now.

Call me if you want to chat through this. Will take about 3 hours spread over a couple of evenings.

1) take a hacksaw to the top of the radiator and cut (carefully) two vertical line down through 5 of the radiator "channels" these lines should be just inside of the radiator hang off "lugs"
2) using a really fine coping saw slide the saw down one of the cuts and then gently cut horizontaly across the radiator between channel 5 and 6. you are cutting across the cooling fins which are really fine and easy to cut. when complete you will have a section of radiator cut out into which the ram air will go.

3) Next take a junior hacksaw and carefully cut the fins away from the open water channels on each side of the radiator to a depth of about 15 mm - this is a bit fiddly but it allows you access to the individual water channels

4) with a flat head screwdriver - open up each of the cut water channels enough to allow you to force ckemical metal into each

5) Mix the chemical metal (jb weld) and with some sort of plastic trowel force it into each of the water channels (one side only) - it will be runny so this is a bit messy.

6) when all 5 channels on one side are done use a pair of long nose pliers to nip up each of the open channel ends and then put the radiator on its side so that the chemical metal seals hard against the nipped up channles.

7) repeat on the other side 24 hours later

thats it modified now,so will get it fitted and see if it holds water ok,hopefully all good and get the bike done for knockhill.

Dont think your gonna need it this weekend.Unless you got snow tyres .check the kdmc or knockhill website for updates.

I heard yesterday that Knockhill have aquired a snow blowing machine to clear the track ? ? ?

need some signatures,so i ll try any weather,lol,hopefully clear up
