Some advice over braided lines...

Hi all, i have been thinking of putting a braided line kit on my zxr400, just spoke to a guy who sells the Hel lines and he recomends me to go for a 2 lines str8 from the master cylinder rather than the 3 way system. Can anyone tell me if this would be a good idea going for the 2 line setup, I use the zxr for mainly road use but i am looking at setting it up for a possible track day aswell. so a sytem that works well for both would be ideal.
Any recomendations?
Any improved brake response?
Cheers
J

2 lines is the best way to do it,

splitter's suck, and the "down to one then over to the other" arrangement leaves you open to a no brakes scenario if anything gets picked up by the wheel and rips out the mudguard and/or link over the wheel .. which is why its not allowed in racing

Cheers Zimm, i thought it would give a better response, kind of obviouse if you think because it is missing one line so giving more presure to the calipers i presume? =S....... Now its a case of finding some at a good price =)...

+1 with what he just said.

I got 2 lines straight from the master cylinder, and you will notice the difference :D

Do you know any good places to get the lines from? and also i thought there is the line from the brake fluid chamber to the master cyclinder on the leaver, is there a way to get that hose braided to? Just a thought cus its a big ugly (scaryley spungy feeling) old stock line... and my brakes are feelin shot to high heaven at the moment :smt017

£15 each? Is that with the end fittings etc? Cos that's damn cheap. Wemoto are quoting £50.96 for the complete race set-up Hel hoses and they are usually pretty competitive. That includes all the banjos on the ends and new stainless banjo bolts http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Kawasaki/ZX ... -03/#BRAKE . And you can choose your colours. Having bought a set of Hel hoses (in standard set-up, I've never had a problem with the feel of the standard set-up so, if it ain't broke, don't fix it) I can say that quality is A1.
