My radiator cracked at the top brackets this weekend at East Fortune. Managed to bodge it up with some chemical metal and it lasted 5 races but started leaking again at the end of the last race. I'm desperatly needing one for next weekend at Knockhill. Either a standard one or a decent ram air modified one. If anyone can help please get in touch!
Cheers

For small fixes you might consider using Durafix. Great stuff if you quickly need to repair alu during racing weekends. Good luck..

Ali, it might be worth having another go with the chemical metal. I had the same problem; initially the leaks returned, but if you clean the area around the leak (start the bike back in the paddock and wait for it to warm enough to spurt, to get the exact spot) and then sand or file it down to get a rough surface, it should work. Just make sure you use loads. I used the plastic mixing spatula to feed lots of it in between the fins where the leaks were, and then put some more on. It's not pretty, but it's effective. I've had maybe 10 or 15 race meetings now without an issue.

I've fixed a leaking rad on my wifes bike it had split on the edge I remove the fins around it and opened the split a little. Then after very caerful cleaning I was able to push a little epoxy chemicial stuff into the hole little bit at a time and slowly build up until the area was covered with a little patch...................done loads of miles with no issues
The trick is to get the peparation right.................
