Awesome! Nobody would be able to tell that isn't standard!
I think I'd spend a few months telling people it was just the Micron can making the difference!

i wonder how it handles?

The COG will have changed a bit and perhaps it would be a little heavier.................I'm sure a few tweaks would compensate for those changes........and it would handle like a ZXR400 ?
I suppose the next question is..................how does a ZXR400 handle ?

engine is 20kg heavier than 400 engine, at the mo weight distribution is 86kg front 80kg rear, which puts it at the same weight as a road going zxr, handling wise iv'e only done 1 trackday and didn't push to hard as it was first run out for myself and bike, but there's nothing amiss so far, will know more this year as i push it a bit more

I feel the need to make 2 very important points, one being more important than the other.
1, less important, but more stating the obvious. Spend time setting the suspension up correctly.
2, The most important point. You havent answered my question................

Couple of questions:
How did you get the engine to fit in the frame?
Were there many modifications to make? and finally
Have you altered the size of the rear tyre to allow for the monumental increase in power?
But in any event, AWESOME JOB

To answer some questions: sure you can have a go look me up at any of the trackdays you see bike at

rear wheel is from a zx6r running a 180, gsxr 1000 shock standard for the mo frontend just new oil and seals, not sure what path im going down with forks have a set of tlr forks gonna swop internals into spare set of zxr forks to see if they work, as im only doing trackdays not gonna spend too much on it.
To get engine to fit you need to cut front engine mounts off hack into frame re weld new font mounts, make up and weld on new top rear engine mount, a lot of work but fortunately for me already done when i bought bike

,
yes they were a few puzzled looks as it was running 250 stickers !!!!

Really awsome bike. Would be nice to know a bit more about the conversion. What year is the engine? Why choose the Honda instead of ZX9R-engine?
I like theese conversions. I have 2 ZXR750 with ZX9R-engine in them, but I can't imagine having a 900 in a ZXR400
If you ever want to sell it, please let me be the first you contact!!

That looks amazing!! you've made a fantastic job of the conversion! Would love to see it in the flesh - you should have a rideout to the north east and I'll have the kettle on!
