its a shame that moto gp has being so ''big'' because its lost the edge it had that took them to where it is today who wants too pay £65 for a ticket ? its a hobby a way of life and in this world biking cost a fair bit and when you want too go too the races with a few pals and see some good racing talking too other bikers i payed about 25 or 30 quid too go too bsb we had a good time think i even got some gloves
a dream of mine is too go to the isle of man TT the riders have chestnuts of steel with amazing skill

Odd choice for Spies but I guess it was either them or out of the paddock. And once you leave there's almost no chance of coming back.
MotoGP should be looked at carefully as it doesn't provide enough decent/close racing. Last time I actually went was in the mid-late 90's (I think it was last or penultimate year of Doohan) and it was about £40. Good price and a good day. I've not since wanted to go again mind you.

for me nd the missus to go to the motogp costs more than my bike insurance does for the whole year!
incidently i might just have bought one of these...1989 G-reg Yamaha Fazer 1000-R EXUP
needs a good bit of work doing to it...my mate with 20+ bikes bought it as a project, if i pay him the £400 he paid for it, its mine...just checked insurance, once its finished i would like it to be close to £2k, TPF&T insurance comes in at £160 a year...thats only £30 more than the zxr...

Thats an FZR thou not a Fazer dude. The fazer uses a detuned R1 motor so think that came out about the same time as the R1.

Awesome bikes as long as you havent ridden anything too modern. I had an import 750 genesis and loved it. I think these are good for about 140 bhp so coming out of roundabouts should be a hoot when you get it sorted. The exup valve is the achillies heel as far as I've heard and doesn't run right if you bodge it.

the exup on mine is nice and spins fine with no sticking - which is good
you can remove it, but its a bitch to get it to fuel right under 4k rpm, and in order to get the fuelling right you need to go for the full stage 3 (if you ditch the exup), so thats 2 pod filters, stage 3 needles, full system and can...not going down that route just yet
there is a pic of its current state in the showcase thread...engine is coming out tonight

Looking good mate. you've way more patience that I do. Everytime I start a fighter it turns rat half way through.
Was laughing my ass off at Cargo...do you reckon he's not a fan of this bike??? If its toad on a racetrack its a toad bike apparently...funny that coz I thought my old VFR750 was quite good!
