yep just whip em off and give em a lick of paint, use decent stuff such as hard hat otherwise it'll just chip and flake, and make sure the wheels are clean before you paint em, gonna do mine soon.

Dont bother spraying, get em powder coated, be about £20 a wheel and look and last better than spraying, if your near brum I cnpoint you int he direction of a pretty good company who did my ZX9 wheels

I'm looking to powder coat my wheels black! zxr400! but it's a very rough surface! is it best to sand them down till their smooth and then powdercoat them? or just powdercoating them straight! Also little experience with powdercoating. will they be mega shiny? or is it more of a matt? cheers

you really need to get them shotblasted first then powdercoated, but most powdercoaters will do that anyway, you can have any finish on powdercoating, matt or gloss.
