Re: b1h zx636r or c1h zx10r
we had a b1h 636 for a while, and i loved it. twitchy as f*ck, rock hard proper kwacka bike - pity they changed it after this model.good fun. only things i did'nt like was the useless digital rev counter, and the cheapo fasteners, etc. that rust far to fast... and ours bent in half after a low(ish) speed crash

go for the 636r. In black. They are cool.
What would you do with a zx10r that you couldn't on a 6? (day to day...)

did insrance quotes on both and for a 636 it was about £780 a year and £540 a year for a zx10r
so purly for financial reasons id have to go for the 10r

Re: b1h zx636r or c1h zx10r
why would it be cheaper to insure a 10r than a 6?????????????????

Re: b1h zx636r or c1h zx10r
because the 6 is more a young riders bike, so it gets crash more thus more claims. As the 10 is more a weekend worriors bike who dos 4 miles a year and is to scared to go over 4,000rpm.
thats my guess anyway. Eaither way its cheaper to insure a 10 than a 6 for me

lol it just makes no sence at all does it
odd indeed. so now all the boy recers will get a 10r an crash on a faster bike. its like when they underpriced scoobys for the insurance

Re: b1h zx636r or c1h zx10r
im 19, full licence and just got quotes for zx10r - 05 full comp for 800 quid. zx636r - 05 full comp for 1100 quid. gsxr 750k6 full comp for 900 quid so that made me think...
so i can have any bike i want and bearing in mind the roads on the isle of wight are toad, perhaps a zx10 would be uncontrollable and i doubt i could use what its got. so...
call me a traitor but i think i'm going for a gsxr 750k6. i'll miss the kwaks but its an excellent happy medium for where i live. and god help me with the jump from my zxr400 to that!!!

I had a good test run on the K6 gixxer 600 and it was an awesome machine. Suspension was too stiff for the road tho
