Hey everybody, I've been away and now I'm back and I have some problems.....

1. The front end of my bike creeks when I brake does any one know what this could be or has anyone else experienced this?

2. My pillion seat doesn't fit properly, it wont locate on the hooks at the front, does anyone else have this problem and any ideas how I could fix it?

Thanks Mike.

where's the creaking coming from? the forks? is the bar under the seat bent? if its not been fitted properly and someones sat on it could have bent the bar or the hooks, or they may have worn?

I'm not sure what is creaking, when i roll the bike forward it sounds like it is coming from the discs do you think it could be the carriers? I'm gonna have an investigation in to the seat as I think this is the only way.

also make sure yr forks are sitting straight in the yokes, and check the bolts are tight. Mine was making a funny noise when braking, and it turned out to be yoke bolts not being tight enuf!

Is your steering stiff from side to side?...

I first has a squeek when i needed to replace the head stock bearings!!and it has been great for 6 months.

But now my front end sort of creaks or squeekes.. when me and my other half looked at it.. we found that it was the braided hoses that were rubbing on the fender...

mine used to creak a bit after i fitted crash bungs as the bolts would loosen off until i applied threadlock.

Alrite mate..
Soz for no reply, i forgot about this thread...I used to go there coupla years ago, was sein' some bird from down that way..
I go now and again still, not often tho..usually after the egg run or for a pint after a ride.

I normally just hit wales for my rides, pondrossa(spelt right?) and round that way.
have to hook up for a ride sometime when it gets a bit warmer mate
