probably not going to be cheap, but i'll bet it comes in at less £££ than a 1098..

this is the first time a "new" bike has got me this excited since about 1994, was mildly aroused by the R6 when that first arrived .. but this is something else.

Nothing seems to arouse me much these days so to speak! Nothing since i first set eyes on a ZXR anyway, pnly thing that ive really wanted is a T675.

1098 come in at about 12K dont they? bringing out a 898 soon arent they.

1098 is silly money.. pretty though .. but in some ways its "just another bike" same with the 675 i thought i really wanted one.. then realised i just wanted it more than i wanted a cbrr/r6/gixxer/zx6r.. which doesnt really count.. i always thought id want a ducati.. then i got one.. (2001 750ss) rode it 4 miles, put it in the garage for a month and swapped it for 2 broken zxr400's .. I think i could stand and look at and "appreciate" an early 916 for weeks .. dont actually think i'd enjoy riding it though.. mates the same with his MV Agusta F4-750.. think he's done under 500 miles in 4 years .. just cant be arsed .. rides his ducati 996sps instead .. (yeh, i know, flash git) this RC8 though .. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

only thing that could possibly ruin it.. if its a slow revving tractor-ish donk like a ducati twin .. if only it was a V4.. or better still a 2-stroke !

Is it just me or is the test rider in the vid really freakin tall? Or is really that compact, the front end looks really short/compact i'd love to see one in the flesh,

80cm seat height apparently.. which is what .. 30mm higher than a zxr400 .. ??

Not seent he 1098 in the flesh but ive seen picture of other peoples, but am i the only one that things it only looks good fromthe front? Rest of its not that great i dont think.

the only thing i'd change on it is the headlights, replace them with the duke style projector lights.
