havn't been able to fathom that yet from the scant bits of news I hear.

She was teaching there, the kids were locals that she was teaching. Obviously in an innocent attempt of democracy, she allowed the kids to name the bear, most popular vote was mohammed so thats what they called it. I believe shes got 15 days an in overcrowded mosquito infested womans prison.

Firstly (can you tell this is something I've been meaning to blog about? ), am I right in thinking that all THE KIDS chose for this bear to be called Muhammed?

Secondly, she's in -ing Sudan working as a teacher. Are you seriously telling me this dumbass bint is working as a TEACHER in a Muslim state, and didn't think naming a fluffy toy 'Muhammed' might be considered 'a bit off'???

If she's dumb enough to break their laws when she's supposed to be teaching their children - I'd have to say she deserves any punishment she gets!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we cant know everything about everybody, yes she is in thier country and must abide by thier laws, however, ive yet to see how in anyway its an insult to thier prophet. They call thier kids by that name, my girlfriends step dad is even called mohammed, wheres the harm? All it takes is just a bit of common sense, which seems to have happened i heard this morning where she has been set free. Even muslims in the UK think its horrendous that she had been put away for something so trivial.

You cant hold the kids accountable for that tho, how are they to know at thier age?

on the other hand, there she is a British woman teaching in sudan out of choice, how much appreciation do they twats show for it?
