Hi everybody,

last summer I've made myself a ZXR600 : I putted a ZZR600 engine in a ZXR400H frame.

now I still got the 400 engine, and I can buy a nice ZXR250 for 500euro with a broken engine. can the 400 motor be fitted into the 250 ? is it a straight swap (engine mounts ?)

hi, good luck with the work! from what i rember the 250 frame is quite diffrent from the 400 but i cant be sure.

if possible could you give me some more info on the 600 swop im going to do my own at some point but with the 636 engine. Did you make new mounts or just use spacers?

don't mind that the frame is different, just curious if both engines use the same mountings

I took away all the 400-engine mounts, and welded some new ones at the back, and milled a support at the front. the original mounts were nowwhere usable for the ZZR engine.

bike isn't supposed to look great, I don't mind that everything isn't nicly shinning, it's just for trashing on trackdays
