Just renewed mine.
£127.70 - third party only mind you. Havent bothered with faire and theft for the moment. May look to upgrade in a few months when i move to Ipswich as more then likely wont be garaged then.
thats with a 6 month ban, one or two 'incidents' on record and a theft of one of my bikes.
On the plus side i now have 7 years (i couldnt believe it!

) no claims discount (now protected), boomerang key fob/key recovery service worth 12.99 and legal cover worth 49.99. Also carrying no pasengers since i have no passenger seat or pegs.
Strangely tho, its cheaper than the original quote they gave me for my renewal end of august which was £138. Only a tenner but hey, its a tenner more in my pocket for fuel/beer/ etc...
All with quoteline direct.

Love the way your post is dusted to the side in light of masterofinsanity's ball breaking £40 insurance quote
Glad you've obviously done ok out of the whole deal, minus the bike. Let us know with a new thread.
And as for £40 that's outrageous...

£41.20 to be exact, £40 would have been nice that means i'd get half a guiness out of it.
