does anyone know what is the best way to upgrade the clutch ie is there an aftermarket one or is it just standard clutch with stiffer springs? as mine started slipping at high revs the bike is making 79bhp is that too much for a standard clutch

The standard clutch is quite strong - Certainly copes with 80 BHP for a season ! There are different width steels, I have photos of them on a different thread,so check you have the larger steels, and use the pdf manual here to make sure that all of the spacers are correctly installed in the right order (there is one behind the large toothed basket for example) - Oh and don't use EBC springs, they are a bit too soft and you will get clutch slip. Also, the centre nut can loosen, Kawasaki say it should be thrown away after one use and a new one fitted.

Mark

What oil are you using and have you changed it recently? and if so what oil was in it previously.

make sure there plenty play in the cable? This is what caused mine to slip at high revs.
