Hi all,

I'm just working my way through the maintenance schedule, getting my bike back to top condition.
Was just wondering where I could buy a coolant filter from?

I Googled it, and looked on eBay but with little results.

Also, as for fitting. I assume it's all in the workshop manual, and is pretty straight forward?

I'm assuming he means the one in the carb heater circuit. Can't imagine why he would want to replace it, though, it's just nylon mesh. It dismantles and you rinse it in water and give it a gentle scrub with a nailbrush.

I only asked, because the service manual mentions it.
But fair enough, if it is only just a nylon mesh. I did wonder why the coolant would have an entire filter to itself :P

The carb heater circuit prob has a filter because it is only very narrow bore pipe and may have to potential to block.

Not that I would know...........threw the whole thing in the bin years agao
