Hi all new to this site so most likely been asked but after pulling the engine apart after been sat for some years I have water damage in one bore and seen that at some point you could get hold of these but now they are a none stock item from Kawasaki any one no of any one else selling these don't want to go down the road of new pistons

Do you have the oem number? (you can find them in the microfiche)

Not 100% but the number I got for the rings was chkm168998

you have checked then that you are definitely using the +0.5mm oversize pistons?
if so their kawasaki part number is 130251108
the original piston rings are part number 130081133
original piston rings are available ~ £30 per piston, you are correct, the +0.5 were discontinued some time ago.
if you cant find a set look in the racing subsection, someone has some custom pistons manufactured, that might provide you with an avenue to go down. i think the pistons were +1.0mm, but they might have info on +0.5mm or know someone who does.

The pistons are stock I might of miss interpreted it wrong as you could probably guess my knowledge in mechanics is little my thoughts was that you could use 0.5mm rings to accommodate for exceeding the orginal bore size for standard rings limiting need to use over sized pistons or replacing the liners etc I was thinking of cheaper fix I will look down the other avenues cheers for the help tho
