Whilst installing crash protectors, one side of the engine has moved, meaning I cant install the second bolt, and the holes now dont line up (see pictures).
Ive just spent the last hour pushing and pulling and cant get the thing to move.
Given that Im not that confident with spanners, can anyone give any advice or is it off to the garage?
Engine moved slightly whilst installing crash protectors?

Re: Engine moved slightly whilst installing crash protectors
you could try slackening off the other side, as well as the other 2 bolts that hold the frame into the engine...that might give you enough wiggle room to get the engine pushed back into position.

This, plus filed a spare, similar sized bolt into a needle point and knocked it in first which did enough necessary to align the holes.banner001 wrote:you could try slackening off the other side, as well as the other 2 bolts that hold the frame into the engine...that might give you enough wiggle room to get the engine pushed back into position.
