Pickup coil

Pickup coil
Hi need info plzzz just rebuilding my bike hasn't ran since 2006 whilst putting engine in I left it on its side and noticed oil leaking frm pickup coil end which is normally dry does this mean my seal is leaking or just due to it laid over any help greatly appreciated

...but the pickup coil is on the right hand side of the engine?
it could be that you need a new gasket, or just a bit of sealant around where the pickup coil rubber meets the gasket.
