HEAD GASKETS??????

Post by cargo »

I've just bought two head gaskets off e-bay and althought they look the same they have different part numbers.

One is numbered 11004-1182 and is also marked 3G

The other is numbered 11004-1321 with a 7A mark

I'm certain the first one 11004-1182 is a L model head gasket and the other may be for H model there are a couple of extra holes in this one that look like they may be for location dowels.

Could it be that they are different thicknesses??

ANY THOUGHTS????????

Ahem :!: those links show the cylinders and base gaskets

I've already looked at the microfiche of the top end for L and H models.
The head gasket number in each case is 11004-1182

So what does that mean for the gasketI I've got, part number11004-1321
could it belong to another 400cc Kawasaki
