10Ah or 8Ah?

Hello all!!!
i checked in the manual to see which battery came standard and it only specified 12v 10Ah (no make). But the previous 2 batteries I've owned have both been 12v 8Ah, could this be why my bike is more reluctant to start after a while sitting than usual? not enough juice?
which batteries do other people use?
