End can for a BEET system?

Post by TyeNoodle »

Hello..

Friend of mine has bought a ZXR with a BEET exhaust system, but no end can.

I'm struggling to find a can to suit, any leads?

Cheers!

Drop Mori Man a PM. Just the sort of thing he would be able to source and shipping from Japan is way cheaper than you think. In fact you may well get it cheaper than you could in the UK.

Slip on size is 50.8mm - sometimes this is listed as 50 or 51mm

I probably have a BEET can kicking about somewhere - finding it may be the problem though :smt017

Got an assortment of other cans from Stainless , Carbon & Titanium in different lengths.

You can also get reducers so you can fot 54mm and 60.5mm cans - these are popular for bigger bike zorst so opens a whole range of options.

The BEET seems happy with a short can and smallish opening or a medium length can with medium opening - I can measure up the sizes for you.

If its titanium stick with a titanium or Aluminium can for best lightweight ability :smt003

Welcome to the forum BTW 、get some pics up !

Hi thanks, if you could have a look that would be ideal!

It's a bit of a shed so no pics at the moment, reputed to be putting out 73hp. Got all the right bits just needs cleaning up really before the first race.

Prefer two strokes myself :smt003

Ok, we'll let you off, you've managed a last minute recovery with that one biggrin I always found two strokes a great laugh too - sat at the side of the road with fouled plugs buggering about trying to get them restarted :smt011 Or sat behind one in a jam at a race meet on a roasting day with him blipping away like mad and choking me. Horrid things, please don't mention them again, they upset me..... :smt018

Well they'll only foul plus when there is a problem, or if the rider isn't giving it enough beans!

Even Kawasaki made good two strokes.. I love em, from 15cc model engines to 500cc gp bikes. Four strokes just dont cut it for me! biggrin

Me n 2T don't play well :smt009

Blew the tits off every one I have ever owned - even Honda's :smt005

But fun non the less :smt004

Not to say I haven't blown up 4T engines too but strangely enough Honda too ! shocking That " This thing is as flat as a pancake, better wring it's neck harder " syndrome :pmsl

:smt002

BTW, currently no hope to rake through my stuff to find the can - it might be there it might not, may have sold it :smt017 Only just got my store room one sorted that I can get in , move about and organise orders smiler Room two still needs tackled and thats not a pretty sight shocking

Let your mate know I can sort him out - what is he looking for ? original BEET can or anything that fits ?

MM! :smt001

I've used Hindle and leo vince on my beet system, an F4i can fits right on without any mods. :)
