MTC Exhausts & Help needed

Post by EvilSpike »

Hello All.

Need a tiny bit of help please. Could someone measure the sleve length of an original ZXR 400 end can please and tell me how long it is. From memory I think it's 300mm, but I may be wrong.

The reason being is that I fancy a new can, the original one is a wee bit dinged up and MTC exhausts are having a 20% off sale at the mo, you need to "like" their facebook page, but I want to make sure I don't end up buying a can thats too long and going to look silly.

Incidently, I'm struggling to decide between the Titanium single or twin exit ovals.

Or the black single or twin exit in either round or oval.

Anyone have any preferences?

Ta!

Sorry I've not been on here for a bit, been busy. I do have a stock exhaust in the shed, I'll measure it for you when I get home and PM you the length. Have you looked at A16 Exhausts? http://www.aa16.co.uk/ I've got one of these and can highly recommend them, very well made and a nice sound. Plus mine got rid of all the OEM flat spots and produced a near-perfect A/F on the dyno. Improved the bike enormously.
