My l5 is restricted by the carbs and is a uk model. it gets to 80 ok and then drags a little to a 100 (in 4th gear) where it wont go any faster. I have seen people say theres go's 115 120 130 etc when restricted and wanted to know if mine is slower than usual and why maybe. It was like this when i bought it a month ago and the washers were fitted then along with the carbs balanced and a service.
Wanted some oppinions on if this seems right,
Any ideas???
Thanks

Seems right, most people who say they see 115 or even 110 are pulling your leg... 100 is about max restricted...

Re: Restricted zxr 100mph limit
There's nothing wrong with your bike. The top speed in unlimited form is around 140mph, so with whacking great restrictors in the carbs anyone who says they are seeing more than about 100mph must think we're all daft. Even unrestricted it will do an indicated 120 as easy as you like, but you need to work for those extra 20.
If you work on using what you've got while you're restricted and improving your riding you'll be able to properly enjoy the extra power once you come off your restricted license
