Got nothing at all!!

Riding down the road the other evening, bike running nice and then nothing. No lights, no power, nothing. After phoning my mate to come and save me I was thinking it could be a loose battery terminal. After about 15 mins of waiting tried it again and was perfect. Started her and she died again. after pushing her off the dual carridgeway, I noticed that when I seemed to wiggle the cables from the ignition area she was fine. I turned the sterring and it would drop out again. Left the bike over night and in the morning she was fine. Left her idling by herself and she went dead without any movement. The battery is fine and mechanically she is sweet. Not sure how all the electrics work on the bike and would like some help please

Just for anybody who is interested. Had the bike in bits earlier. I was the connection in one of the plastic connectors. One of the blades had snapped ( hense the intimitant fault). reconnected and sorted.
