Hi guys/gals I'm new to this forum and just looking for abit of advice.
So I've got a nice zxr400 h1 in the garage that hasn't been used in a long time due to it having a few problems and never getting round to getting my full licence. I'm at the point now where I'm bored of driving driving a car and just want to get back onto a bike, so I was wandering, as I do really love this bike would it actually be worthwhile to restore it to its former glory or just go ahead and buy a newer bike.
Is the bike likely to increase in value overtime.
Are parts easy to get ahold of.
Please let me know what you think and if I decide to restore it I'll keep you updated.
Thanks..
Worth restoring?

Re: Worth restoring?
H1 parts are about the hardest to come by (1 year lifespan for some items).
If you want something good and reliable, get a modern bike.
If you want something different to most other people, restore the bike.

Restoring a bike costs lots of spare cash depending on the condition of the bike obviously! Does it need a refresh or full on resto.
Best post up some photos of the bike..
