Learning to wheelie my ZXR

Post by Ghost »

Went out for a ride this afternoon with Leigh and Rob (KLR600) and on the way back decided to stop off at a deserted industrial estate and have a bit of a play around on the bikes. My wheelies are getting a little better, I still need lots of practice but it's getting there.

Had a good ride and it was a laugh but I've still got plenty to learn, really need to repair the bike back up to scratch first but one step at a time.

Not bad, never been able to get the ZXR to wheelie properly myself.

But yes, is this why the frame got bent in the first place? :smt002

Hey, at least if I crash it I can't do any more damage! Just makes me wince a little every time I get a bit of a heavy landing. Frame seems to be holding up so far so I haven't killed it yet. Gonna start practicing stand ups and smoother gear changes next I think, taking it easy though cos I've only been riding for a month :(

no pics of me wheelying, just like there arent many of me snowboarding or programming or powersliding zzr1100's or going for a toad .. doesnt mean i dont do it :smt002

there arent many people stunting on 400's because they are crap at it, try a supermoto, or a big torquey superbike and you'll see what i mean.

anyway, i wasnt dissing you, was more taking the piss outta Baz .. lol

That's cool I wasn't suggesting you can't wheelie I'd just like to see some pictures of other zxr 400s on their back wheel that's all. If anyone has feel free to post them up, don't think your hijacking my thread it's a wheelie for all :)

Er, no because I bent it myself. Still bent, still wheelying and the bike's still in one piece.
