Rear Paddock Stand
Hey everyone,
Just wondering which rear paddock stands you guys use with your ZXR's? I've got R&G bobbins which seems to make the overall dimension too wide for the stands that I have tried so far.

Do you have the bobbin hooks for the stand?

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
I have a Harris one with bobbin hooks, like said above. You can get a normal paddock stand to fit, it's just a bit of a faff and it's much easier to just use one with bobbin hooks

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
The stand I tried (Moto GP one piece stand) had bobbin hooks but wouldn't fit because it was too narrow.
Cheers.

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
I'd be curious to know the difference between a "normal" paddock and one with bobbin hooks.
I've never seen a paddock stand that can't be made to fit. Is there something special or unique about a MotoGP paddock stand.
Please do share some photos

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
By normal I meant one that comes, as standard without buying a separate set of bobbin hooks, universal lifting cups. I just hoped to save myself a bit of time by not having to specify that point. Although obviously I have failed...

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
I use a Moto gp style paddock stand with bobbin hooks, yeah it is on th tight side but I just prized it open a bit more as there only made of Ali sheet plate.
I also pushed the bobbin hooks as close as possible to the stand Attachment to the point I had to tighten up first and get the hammer on them to hit them flush. I know it's sounds a bit agricultural but it works for me.

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
The hooks were on the inside of the stand and weren't designed to be used on the outside. I can't imagine there is anything unique about it I don't personally have any photos because I sent it back when it wouldn't fit but here's a generic picture from the internet- http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/product ... d-rear.jpg. Fair enough if that works for you Leey! I'm not brave enough to take a hammer to something that's intended to hold my bike lol.
Cheers.

Re: Rear Paddock Stand
Ahh right fair enough. Does no one know a brand/model stand that fits the ZXR without having to be modified? I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know
Cheers.
