So close to finally finishing my 7 year (yikes) build and today I spent hours trying to get the carbs to balance.
The carbs were sonic cleaned and rebuilt to standard with all new seals and correct float heights. New o-rings under the carb rubbers
But try as I might she won't balance and as usual the revs are hanging all over the place. When she will idle it's only for a minute or so before she cuts out.
Anyone point me in the right direction? I'm determined not to miss another summers riding

At which rpm are you trying to balance it?
Sounds like false setted pilot screw to me if everything else is alright...

Re: Carbs just won't balance
Trying to balance it at idle but she won't idle for long as she either cuts out or the revs jump about.
I already replaced the o-rings under the carb rubbers but I've order new rubbers now as well so I'll check the carbs over again when I fit them
