Zxr400 race modded wiring harness
I have a zxr 400 for racing it has a modded wiring loom now after origional deteriorated,it starts fine runs fine except it won't rev over 10,000 rpm out on track , any ideas

Hi, will watch your posts just about to make up a race loom but initially retain the generator .
Not keen on the 10k limit, hope someone can help

Have you tried the 3 suggestions here...only revving to 10k is classic "cut pink wire" or not running any clocks...

Kneenja. I have a little box which I think is a device to overcome the restriction. If you have a three terminal connection in the wiring harness where the speedo would be, this plugs in and I assume tells the CDI to "rev on"! If you want more details and photos, send me a Private Message.
