This does look the business. With the ram airbox there's little room for the coils so eliminating them altogether is a great benefit. I put mine upfront under the instrument cluster last season which worked just fine but this is an even better approach. probably lighter by 30g as well.

Standard 1mm thin wall cable will be fine
