you could always buy Russ' UK box if yours proves dead.. im sure he wont charge you too much considering he's admitted only spending a fiver on it at the beggining of this very thread 
it pretty much went bk to normal with the old cdi bk on mate... its got me right puzzled tho
am not sure if a have tried with the uk one in there and the derestrictor taken off ... ill try that come the weekned and let you know the outcome mate
