No i aint on about my groupies
Picture this, Im on the motorway cruising at 70 - 80 mph, then pull off and slow down to about 30-40 for the normal roads. The temp guage shoots right up but the fan doesnt kick in.
However, if i am on the normal roads and the temp goes to about 3/4 on the gauge it will kick in happily.
Any ideas?

Re: Fan Problems
possibly the fan switch at fault, but i think this could be something more than just the fan not working because really the fan should only come on when you are going really slowly or stopped as there is no wind getting through the radiator, and the temp should just 'shoot up' as you say have you checked the rest of the cooling system?i think someone on here had a similar problem and turned out the radiator was partly blocked so maybe worth a check and flushing through.

Re: Fan Problems
bridge the fan wires, just to check that works tickety boo. then fit a manual override so you can turn it on yourself if need to.
