Hi all,

I have just bought my first bike! a ZX400 L1.
I need to change the rear shock and was wondering if anyone knew if the ZX400 L1 uses the same shock as a ZXR400? or any other bike for that matter??

a zx400 L1 is a zxr400

models run,

1988 ZX-4 (ZX400-G)
1989 ZXR400-H1 (ZX400-H1)
1990 ZXR400-H2 (ZX400-H2)
1991 ZXR400-L1 (ZX400-L1)
199* ZXR400-L* (ZX400-L*)

If you mean you have a ZX-4 (ZX400-G) then a zxr shock will fit anyway ... just bin the ride height adjustor as its not required with the ZX-4 frame.
