Does all L model fuel tanks fit an L4 bike?

Like the subject says... can I take any fuel tank from an L1 to L9 model and mount on my girlfriends L4 model? Anybody knows?
Could't find that info elsewhere on your forum. Have also looked in the "Parts from other bikes which fit the ZXR" section.
