Hey all!
I was just looking round the MCN website and found some decent youtube vids of putting the bike onto a paddock stand on your own. Decided to give this ago but want to upgrade my paddock stands to the bobbins style to make it a bit easier!
Have had a look round a few websites but not sure which type i need to buy, there seems to be a few styles. Theres a couple of different threads 8mm/10mm/12mm plus there are some that are offset too.
Can anyone shed some light onto which ones i need for the ZXR?
Thanks in advance!

im pretty sure the zxr threads are well fat, m12 id guess.
The ones i have for my h2 swingarm, are offset. The exhaust side is a bit longer, if you check out the mount holes you will see one is further in than the other side, well on the h2 anyhow...
mine are r and g ones, very nice, well made and fit well.

Yes please if you could, I know they'll be the right ones then.
Just out of interest, do you guys put your bikes up on paddock stands on your own? Is it easy to do on the ZXR? I'm just affraid of dropping my pride and joy!

get an abba stand.. you can put it up on your own and allows you to do alot of maintainance that you couldnt do with paddock stands
I only payed £85 for mine at the MCN show
cheers

I manage to do mine on my own. I leave it on the side stand while i align the cups or the bobbins (whichever you have), then lean the bike upright while pushing down on the stand till the bike is vertical, then push down all the way

yeah, had been thinking about getting one of those for a while now. not sure if i want to pay that much for a stand though, i suppose they are handy if you need to do any suspension work, might save up and get one eventually
was the fitting kit included in that or not?

it was at the show but im not sure if they are usually.
If you order one measure your swing-arm bolts, aparently they use two different kit types, it saves the frustration.
