Right, just a quikie, if I machined every plate down 0.1mm I should in theory reduce the the overall height by around 0.7mm correct? What kind of slip will this leave me with?
Cheers,
Dale

If your testing to get it working, how much do you want it to slip? If i were you i'd machine an old set at various sizes to test.

Excellent. Ive been down t'local Kwaka dealer and they dont list any various thickness plates for the 400, just the stock 2.3mm. Think Ill just machine down my plates a fraction, try it out, if I feel like I want more slip I will just machine more off, no biggy! Awesome, cheers guys.
