Who watched the Perseids last night? Stayed up till now to watch them and was absolutely amazing. Its a well weird feeling watching things like that. I remember the eclipse a few months back where the moon was eclipsed by the earth and the moon went blue! That was a weird thing. Makes you realise how small the world is when stuff like that happens.

The Perseids, it's a new series on Sky.

Nahh, it was a meteor shower. Theres a comet that passed the earths orbit and left behind a load of debris. As the earth passes through the orbit the debris strikes the earths atmosphere at about 30miles/second and causes shooting stars. Absolutely wonderful. Only saw about 25 in 3 hours but was wellw orth it

i sat out with the Mrs till about 12 and didnt see f**k all so went home what time did they start going?

I think they were best seen after 12 mate, i didnt star twatching them till 1 or so and went in at 4. Sat there on top of my shed on a sun lounger with a hot water bottle and a flask of hot chocolate!

Youll see mars this week too apparently, on wednesday.

I missed them sadly was too busy in town getting drunk because of my recent split. Wish I had seen them now would have been alot better than seeing my ex in the same club as me!
