is motorway riding bad for a zxr?
i recently rode from Cardiff to Bristol on the motorway doing a normal 70m.p.h, (which makes the engine sit at 7,000 revs) would this damage the engine in any way considering its pretty much there or there abouts for a good 30 mins straight? cheers maz

Shouldnt cause any problems mate, manufacturers test engine on the redlines for days before they finalise a design.

yeh, my old one survived 2 years desptach abuse screaming up and down the M4/M40/M5 all day long at 10,000rpm + never did it any harm .. it rattled like nothing else by the end.. but it had done over 60,000 miles ! still touched 140mph too .. then someone nicked it !

Only problem you'll get doing lots of motorway miles is a flat area in the middle of your tyres and BOREDOM
