ATTENTION ALL ZXR400 OWNERS

Post by rover220 »

right then, following alot of confusion over the different type of cdi's im asking for your help.

id like for everyone who sees this to answer the following questions. ill then try and see if there is some pattern to it all to help those that ask about this in the future.

1, what are the last 4 digits on your cdi

2, colour of the sticker on the cdi

3, bike model (L1 etc)

4, is the bike a uk spec or import

5, if import, do you know which country it was imported from

6, at what revs does the bike hit the rev limiter

i know this is not a sure fire definate answer as to what cdi is what as some bikes wont have the original one fitted (mine for instance doesnt) but it will be better than knowing nothing.

if you think any more questions are relevant, let me know and ill edit this post.

please try and keep this thread for information relating to this only as itll make life alot easier for people looking for info rather than having pointless posts cluttering it up.

thanks for now.
