Where did you get your frame / forks checked? I don't mean the exact business - but where do you take a frame for this sort of work? I doubt many mechanics have the equipment to do it.
I'm hoping to rebuild my ZXR but need to check my frame isn't buggered. By eye, it looks ok, but I want a proper check done.

By the way, this applies to everyone, but I remember reading Scott's write up a while back.

I got mine checked at a local frame builders mate. He builds custom frames for chops and stuff. If all else fails for you his contact details are..

Ditto, Maidstone Motoliner, I've had many a frame, forks, yokes, wheels etc etc checked and strightened there, thouroughly recommended :smt001

I went to uni in Maidstone so will hunt it down. Shame I won't be riding there - used to love the ride up that way!

Theres a uni there? Or do you mean mid kent college/uni of kent at medway?

I went to the UCCA - an Art college turned uni. Bought my ZXR from Maidstone too - Inta bikes. Nice guy in there. He let me take it out for practically a whole afternoon on the test ride.
I went out thinking, "nah this ain't much, I'll get a 600". Came back thinking "I love this bike! buy it, buy it, buy it!" :smt003

yeah i know of Inta mc's, been past loads of times, never actually popped in. Usually goto Laguna's or Hein Gerick.
