Re: R.I.P. Kit,
Im gutted, bought for a quid years ago when he was the size of my thumb. That pic is over 18mths. He was twice that size before he died.
Started off as a totally black, black moor and turned golden after a year, i was well proud of myself for being able to care for something so well that it gets to the stage whern it reaches adulthood.
Kit has moved house with me 8 times in his life, and hasnt blinked an eye over it. (no pun intended)
Proper gutted

Re: R.I.P. Kit,
Did you flush it or bury it?
I like to think that if you flush a fish, it has a burst of oxygen that might re-vive it and when it gets out to sea, it'll have a long and happy life out there...

Re: R.I.P. Kit,
I flushed a fish once and was sure it started trying to swim just before it went down. Whoops!
Action is the antidote to despair.
