A set sold for 28,500 Yen at the auctions last night - suspect they needed overhauled. A more general price is 45~50K yen for a good set.

Bito R&D re-work new ones specificlly for the ZXR and they are 137K yen shocking but will be the best.

I WOULD read up on OKshon before using them !!! Your warned..... just google their name

Thanks for the warning on OKSHON. I have not ever bought anything through them however I often consider doing so, I did how ever sign up for an account so as I could use the watch list feature. Can you give any more info on there service and or an alternate site in japan that we may use. Cheers

<cough>

Err, yeh, me :smt003

But there are others like rakuten and from Japan but they are all basically the same set-up run probably by their Chinese cousins :smt005

Seriously though, OKshon HQ is in Hong Kong, their site periodically goes down to which is more likely caused by the constant emails they get about bought not sent parts and they just purge their server to clear it quicker than actually reading through them. On another forum I think the bloke successfully sent 1,000 + mails and they were off line for over a week :smt004 They also base their business on pyramid sales (Read ALL the small print on their site(s)) you can be outbid by other OKshon users - the listing isn't locked for your bid only!

Also note all these companies say they are a forwarding agent - that means they don't re-pack, they are sent as received, know I would hope they would throw a box around some of the items that have landed at my door wrapped in just a jacket or T-Shirt shocking

As most find out your deposits are never returned so they may as well call it a subscription fee and be honest about it.

Another thing that rapidly comes to light (again in the small print) that 500 yen bargain soon becomes a 5,000 yen not so cheap piece ! For if they do re-pack they charge what ever they want no discussion. You also have no way of knowing if they ever did re-pack or if original seller really packed it well.

I only deal in bike parts but all these other companies will buy any tat on yahoo and I am sure never warn you that the item is junk or needing serviced, they also don't block bad sellers but I do as I encounter them , although the Japanese are very honest some do try a rip off others will be foreigners not giving a damn and of course you have gang members selling stuff too (they usually say who they are).

98% of my purchases have been OK and any genuine error has been rectified even though nearly all listings are No claim No return. I wonder how many folks have received a shock with a rusty damper rod or leaking oil seal, these other mobs will not check your item.

Anyhoo, just research these companies and don't go in blindly - the more I hunt about the more horror stories I find, last one was a forum for the manga dolls and they were being stung too.

Yahoo has now started a Beta English version which i checked through last night but very few sellers will post internationally so listings are very few, for all ZRX's there were 7 items - need to check if any for ZXR's. You make your own account ect, but didn't go as far as how you pay the buyer (suspect paypal) as I use the bank or post office here. Also I presume the sellers can cope with English mails for the navigator system and leaving feedback. It is not interchangeable with the Japanese site.
